Following the Galaxy S23: Samsung has released an April security update for the Galaxy Flip 5 and Galaxy Fold 5 foldable smartphones

Apart from the Galaxy S23 flagships, Samsung has also started updating its current foldable smartphones.

We are talking about Google's April security update. The firmware has been released with build numbers F946BXXS1CXCH, F731BOXM1CXCF and weighs around 400MB. The system has already started rolling out in waves to the Galaxy Flip 5 and Galaxy Fold 5 in Europe. You can check for OTA availability in the smartphones' settings.

As for the list of changes, it contains a fresh security patch that closes various vulnerabilities in the system. Apart from this, Samsung has also fixed bugs in the software.
