You won't believe it, but Star Wars Outlaws won't have Ubisoft's signature towers
Many people associate Ubisoft with its "towers", which are present in almost every open-world game. Do you want to open a certain part of the map? Climb up a tower and open it. Those who have played at least Far Cry will immediately understand what we are talking about. The studio's next game, Star Wars Outlaws, is being actively discussed. Will it have these branded towers? We will tell you in a moment.
Here's What We Know
Brian Shea, a journalist from Game Informer, asked the game's creative director if there are towers that you climb in the open world to unlock the map. He replied that there would be no such thing in the game.
Brian then wrote that from what he understood, the map would be unlocked as you explore the world. That is, there will be a conditional fog that will dissipate as soon as you arrive at a new area.
When We Can Expect It
Star Wars Outlaws will be released on 30 August 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
