Tales of Kenzera: Zau won't tire or bankrupt gamers: the new $20 platformer will take no more than 15 hours to complete

Tales of Kenzera: Zau action-platformer will be released at the end of April.

Tales of Kenzera: Zau is a classic 2.5D-platformer with colourful visual style and elements of metroidvania genre. Games of this format are often stretched for dozens of hours, but indie studio Surgent Studios decided to take a different path.

Here's What We Know

In the preview of Tales of Kenzera: Zau, the authors of the portal One More Game reported that the main story of the game will take 8-10 hours to complete, and all additional activities will take no more than 15 hours.

Studio head Abubakar Salim (voice star of Assassin's Creed Origins) explained that he wanted to release a game that would not be too expensive for gamers and not too long:

We want to treat the game like a season of a good TV series... Plus gaming is an expensive hobby and we want to make it as accessible as possible.

When We Can Expect It

Tales of Kenzera: Zau is expected to release on 23 April 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and, Nintendo Switch. The game will immediately appear in the Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogues.
