Samsung extends Galaxy AI features to older smartphone models

Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy AI features will be available on more older smartphone models, but not all Galaxy AI features will get these devices. The One UI 6.1 update with Galaxy AI features will be available on flagships released in 2021 and 2022 starting in May.

Here's What We Know

The Galaxy S22, Flip 4, Fold 4, and Tab S8 series will get the same Galaxy AI features as the S23 FE. This means that the devices will get all the features except Instant Slow-mo. On the other hand, the Galaxy S21 series of flagships, Flip 3 and Fold 3 will only get two Galaxy AI features - Google's Circle to Search and Chat Assist - as the hardware capabilities of these devices probably can't handle more.

Whether Galaxy AI features will be available for models like the Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy Tab S8 FE is not yet known.

The update is scheduled to roll out in early May. However, One UI 6.1 on these devices may arrive along with the company's monthly security patch.
