Samsung Galaxy C55 5G specs revealed in Geekbench database
Ahead of the official announcement of the new Samsung Galaxy C55 5G smartphone, its specifications have been spotted in the Geekbench database. According to the data, the Galaxy C55 5G will be a budget device with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset.
Here's What We Know
The Geekbench database indicates that the Galaxy C55 or C55 5G scored 1026 points in the single-core test and 2384 points in the multi-core test. The device will be offered with 8GB of RAM and Adreno 644 GPU. The phone is expected to be available in another version with 6GB of RAM as well. Geekbench also revealed that the next generation C-series smartphone will run Android 14 out of the box.
According to Chinese certification agency TENAA, the alleged Samsung Galaxy C55 5G could offer a 6.67-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, as well as an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The new Galaxy C series smartphone is expected to feature a 50MP main camera. The primary sensor will be complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro module. For selfies and video calls, the device may offer a 13MP camera.
Finally, it is rumoured that the C55 5G will feature a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. There is no word yet on when Samsung plans to officially launch the Galaxy C55 5G. However, since the phone has already been certified by key regulators, the launch is expected soon.
