Motorola has unveiled the Edge 50 Pro to the global market: a smartphone with a 144Hz POLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, IP68 protection and a 50 MP camera

Motorola held a global presentation where it showed off the Edge 50 Pro smartphone.

Here's What We Know

Motorola Edge 50 Pro is one of the three new smartphones in the Edge 50 series. The gadget has a 6.7-inch curved POLED display with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and 2000 nits peak brightness. The display supports HDR 10+. The panel is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and is powered by a 4,500 mAh battery. The gadget has support for 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The novelty has IP68 water protection, stereo speakers, NFC and an under-screen fingerprint scanner.

As for the cameras, there are five of them: triple main camera at 50 MP (with OIS) + 13 MP (wide-angle lens at 120 °) + 10 MP (telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom) and a front camera at 50 MP with autofocus. Motorola Edge 50 Pro comes with Android 14 operating system.

Price & When We Can Expect It

Motorola Edge 50 Pro sales will start in Europe in the near future. In Ukraine, the smartphone will appear in May.
