Indie game Manor Lords is more anticipated than blockbusters: medieval strategy game tops Steam's list of most wanted new releases

Next week will see the release of the ambitious medieval strategy game Manor Lords, which is being developed by Polish game designer Grzegorz Styczeń.

Manor Lords has been attracting attention of the public for a long time and shortly before its release it became the most expected novelty in Steam.

Having been impressed by the trailers, gamers added the game to their wish list more than 2.5 million times!

This figure exceeds such expected projects as Hades II, Black Myth: Wukong, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Frostpunk 2 and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

Such interest is already a great success of a lone developer and clearly shows that creating a great game doesn't always require hundreds of millions of dollars, huge development teams and colourful marketing campaigns.

Let us remind you that in Manor Lords players will be engaged not only in building settlements and providing their inhabitants with everything they need, but also in forming an army to defend their possessions and directly participating in the battles.

When We Can Expect It

Manor Lords is scheduled for release on 26 April on Steam, Microsoft Store and GOG. On the same day, the PC version will be available in the Game Pass catalogue.

The game will also be released on Xbox Series at a later date.
