Insider: 12.9-inch iPad Air will get a Mini LED screen like the current iPad Pro model

According to insider and founder of the company Display Supply Chain Consultants Ross Young, 12.9-inch model iPad Air will come with a Mini LED screen. The same panel is now installed in the current model iPad Pro 12.9. Thanks to the Mini LED matrix, the novelty will be more energy efficient. In addition, the device received a brighter HDR and deep black colour.

As for the base model iPad Air with a 10.9-inch screen, it is likely to come with an IPS LCD matrix. Both new products should be powered by the M3 processor.
