Here's What We Know

The information was discovered on the Canadian retailer's website. The 128GB Pixel 8a will be priced at CAD $708.99, while the 256GB model will cost CAD $792.99. This will be a first for a smartphone in the Pixel A series. The design of the Pixel 8a is expected to be almost identical to the Pixel 8.

The smartphone will also be powered by Google's Tensor G3 processor, get 8GB of RAM and a Titan M security chip. The smartphone will run on Android 14. The camera is expected to use the same sensors as the Pixel 7a, namely 64 MP primary sensor, 13 MP ultra-wide sensor and 13 MP selfie camera. However, it might get some new Pixel 8 camera features like Best Take and Magic Eraser.

The Pixel 8a's battery is rumoured to have a larger capacity of 4,500mAh and will support 27W faster charging, compared to the Pixel 7a's 18W. It will also support 7.5W wireless charging.
