eFuse joins forces with NECC to get more students involved in esports

Esports company eFuse has entered into a partnership with the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC), the largest North American organiser of collegiate esports tournaments.

The NECC will license eFuse to host Rocket League and Call of Duty tournaments to provide more competitive opportunities for North American students. eFuse will also expand its partnership portfolio and share revenue with NECC. Together, they represent over 20,000 players, making them one of the largest student esports operators in North America.

For eFuse, this partnership marks a positive turnaround following the layoffs in September 2023 that led to the postponement of the Creator League. With this collaboration, the NECC strengthens its position in collegiate esports, complementing its existing partnerships, including with Bye Blue Light.

Matthew Benson, CEO of eFuse, sees this partnership as a way to raise the profile of collegiate esports and provide new opportunities for athletes and fans across North America.
