Samsung has announced a new Galaxy C55 smartphone in China
Samsung today unveiled a new smartphone, the Galaxy C55, without much fuss. This model was officially announced in China and it is almost no different from the Galaxy M55. However, there are still a few differences.
Here's What We Know
Unlike the Galaxy M55, the new Galaxy C55 is offered with two new leather-finished back panels - orange and black. The smartphone features a flat display with a centre camera hole. Its bezels are made of metal and all physical buttons are located on the right side.
Inside, the device has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The screen is Super AMOLED and has a diagonal of 6.7 inches. The battery has got a capacity of 5000 mAh and supports wired charging up to 45W.
The main camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels and there is also an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The 8GB and 12GB RAM models are priced at 1999 yuan ($276) and 2299 yuan ($317) respectively.
There is no information on global sales and the smartphone is likely to be exclusive to China.
