Samsung is offering discounts of up to $280 on refurbished Galaxy S23 smartphones
Samsung has started selling refurbished Galaxy S23 smartphones at a discount of up to $280 as part of its Re-Newed programme.
Here's What We Know
Yesterday, the company started selling refurbished Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra models. The devices are being offered at a discount of over $200 off their original retail price. The refurbished Galaxy S23 series under the Re-Newed programme will be available at these prices:
- The 128GB and 256GB Galaxy S23 is priced at $619 and $669.
- The 256GB and 512GB Galaxy S23+ is available for $769 and $869.
- The 256GB and 512GB Galaxy S23 Ultra is priced at $919 and $1069 respectively.
Samsung claims that every Galaxy device sold through Re-Newed undergoes "extensive testing" and receives original replacement parts installed by Samsung engineers. This includes installing a new battery in each device, as well as assigning a new IMEI number. A one-year warranty is also included.
The S23 and S23+ will only be available in black, while the Ultra will add its green colour variant. It is important to note that these prices are the same as the Galaxy S22 series when it started selling under the same programme. However, as of now, the prices for these devices start at $529. So we can expect the Galaxy S23 series to get cheaper over time.
