The developers of Honkai: Star Rail developers confirm Firefly as an upcoming character
The intricate storyline of Penacony in Honkai: Star Rail's has led many to speculate that Firefly (voiced by Analessa Fischer) could become a playable character. miHoYo recently confirmed this speculation with the release of the new "Extraterrestrial Satellite Communication" splash art. As a limited 5-star character, Firefly specialises in dealing fire damage and follows the Path of the Destruction.

Here's What We Know
Firefly is an important member of the Stellaron Hunters along with Blade, Kafka, and Silver Wolf, although she is distinguished by piloting a mechanical suit known as a SAM. The fact that Firefly and SAM are voiced by the same actors has led to speculation that they may offer different play styles, unlike Clara and Svarog. As this announcement precedes the launch of version 2.2, it is highly likely that Firefly will take centre stage as a 5-star character in version 3.3.
