X will launch a separate app with video for TV "soon"
X, formerly Twitter, is preparing to launch a separate TV app for its video sharing. The company's CEO, Linda Yaccarino, announced the news, emphasising that the app is focused on bringing "engaging, real-time content to your smart TVs".
From the small screen to the big screen, X is changing everything. Soon we'll be bringing real-time, engaging content to your smart TVs with the X TV App. This will be your go-to companion for a high-quality, immersive entertainment experience on a bigger screen. We're still building it... pic.twitter.com/QhG6cVDpZ8

Here's What We Know
The app will have a search algorithm for popular videos and topics based on artificial intelligence to organise content by topic. It will support cross-device viewing, allowing you to seamlessly move from phone to TV.
Enhanced video search will be a key feature that will soon be available for "most smart TVs", although no official launch date has been set.
The move is in line with Iaccarino's vision to make the platform "video first" and promote free speech. Current original shows include those hosted by personalities such as Tulsi Gabbard and Jim Rome.
