Basim may return: Assassin's Creed Mirage developers answered fan questions about continuing the story of the game's protagonist

Assassin's Creed Mirage creative director Stephane Boudon and art director Jean-Luc Sala held a Q&A session with Reddit users.

The conversation touched on the possibility of continuing the storyline of Basim, one of Valhalla's central characters and the main protagonist of Mirage.

The developers confirmed that they have no plans to release add-ons or major updates for Assassinʼs Creed Mirage, but noted that Basim could return in future instalments of the series.

According to the game designers, when creating Mirage, their team was limited in creative ideas, as the game is a prequel to Valhalla and Basim's future was known. Therefore, if it is decided to return to the story of this assassin, Stéphane Boudon hopes to get more creative freedom, especially since the developers from Ubisoft Bordeaux like this character and would love to continue his storyline.

Ubisoft representatives intrigued fans with the message that they already have ideas where Basim's adventures might lead.

It's worth noting that the ending of Assassinʼs Creed Valhalla makes it clear that Basim hasn't had his last word yet.
