Director Mike Flanagan has reported progress on his new film based on Stephen King's The Life of Chuck, starring Tom Hiddleston and Mark Hamill.

Filming on the film based on King's 2020 short story "If It Bleeds" wrapped back in late 2023. Now, Flanagan has revealed that he recently completed post-production on The Life of Chuck.
This will be Flanegan's third adaptation of King's works. He previously directed "Gerald's Game" in 2017 and "Doctor Sleep" in 2019. Those films received positive reviews from critics, and the author himself praised his work on Doctor Sleep, noting that Flanegan managed to change his mind about Stanley Kubrick's version of The Shining, which King is known to hate.
