'John Wick' director David Leitch is hoping to make the next James Bond film with Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Agent 007

David Leitch is already known as a top action film director thanks to his work on the original "John Wick" as well as big hits like "Deadpool 2" and "Bullet Train." Now, the filmmaker has expressed his desire to direct a future film about Agent 007, who is expected to be played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Here's What We Know

Leitch has already worked with Taylor-Johnson on Bullet Train and the new The Fall Guy. But, in a recent interview, Leitch noted that he would like to work with Taylor-Johnson on more dynamic fight scenes, praising his athletic ability. Leitch believes that Taylor-Johnson would be a great fit for the role of James Bond and perhaps they can make it a reality in the near future.

"He would be an amazing James Bond. I'll just go on the record like, I've never gotten to do enough action with Aaron, which is crazy. We've done Bullet Train and now, we've done The Fall Guy. What I really want to do is an action movie with him, because he's such an incredible athlete. Like Aaron is awesome. Yeah. So, maybe we'll get that opportunity soon, and I'll get to direct Bond.".

While there are no official announcements on who will play the next James Bond, many are convinced that Aaron Taylor-Johnson is a prime candidate. Meanwhile, Eon Productions is likely looking to set the new Bond apart by making him different from the character created by Daniel Craig, who ended his period as Agent 007 with No Time to Die in 2021.
