The package will include a battery of Patriot surface-to-air missile system. In addition, the AFU will receive ammunition for artillery, unmanned aerial vehicles, UAV countermeasures, and air-to-air missiles to be mounted on fighter jets (most likely, we are talking about the F-16).
Money for the purchase of equipment and ammunition will be allocated under the USAI programme. That is, American defence companies will receive a contract for the production of weapons. It may be transferred to Ukraine over several years.
