Just like Apple: Samsung will release the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch FE smartwatches
Samsung is expected to hold another big presentation on 10 July, where, among other things, the Galaxy Watch 7 smartwatch will make its debut. But it looks like there will be not one and not two, but as many as three models in this lineup.
Here's What We Know
It won't come as a surprise that the lineup will include the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch 7 Classic. It was previously speculated that the third model would be the Watch 7 Pro, but apparently that's not the case. The certification database confirms the name Galaxy Watch Ultra. There are no details about the watch yet, but the certification confirms its existence anyway.
Galaxy Watch Ultra is in the database with three numbers: SM-L705U for the U.S., SM-L705N for Korea and SM-L705F for the global market.
How the Galaxy Watch Ultra will differ from the regular models is still unknown.
In addition, Samsung is preparing to release the Galaxy Watch FE, which, like the FE series smartphones, should be a cheaper alternative to premium models.
If these names sound familiar to you - you don't. It looks like Samsung has decided to follow in the footsteps of Apple, which has the rugged Apple Watch Ultra and the affordable Apple Watch SE in its range.
