Another Crab's Treasure, an adventure souls-like indie game about a crab, sold 30 thousand copies in the first 24 hours
On 26 April, Stellar Blade, a much-discussed PlayStation 5 exclusive, was released. But the day before that, Another Crab's Treasure, an adventure souls-like indie game about a crab, was released. You might not even have heard of it, but it showed good sales results.
Here's What We Know
Aggro Crab studio reported that 30 thousand copies were sold on all platforms in the first 24 hours after the release. The game has also been available on Game Pass since the release date, so the number of players is obviously higher.
In general, this is a pretty good figure for the first day for a small indie studio. So we want to believe that sales of Another Crab's Treasure will only grow.

In Another Crab's Treasure, as a hermit crab, Kriel will need to wear garbage around him like a shell to withstand attacks from enemies that are many times larger than the hero. He'll have to go on an epic treasure hunt to redeem his stolen shell and discover the dark secrets behind the polluted ocean.
The game received 79 points from critics and 8.2 points from players on Metacritic.
