A new HTC smartphone has appeared in the Geekbench database
HTC is preparing to release a new mid-range smartphone. Despite the fact that the company's main revenue now comes from the virtual reality business, HTC continues to release smartphones.
Here's What We Know
The new HTC smartphone was recently spotted in the Geekbench database with scores of 1095 in the single-core test and 3006 in the multi-core test. The smartphone has a model number HTC 2QDA100. According to the data registered with the benchmark, the smartphone will be equipped with 12GB of RAM. The processor that will be installed in the new HTC smartphone has eight cores and is codenamed "crow". This codename is used to refer to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, which is what will be installed in the new HTC smartphone. It is quite possible that it will be the successor to the HTC U23 model, which was released almost a year ago.
In addition, the HTC 2QDA100 smartphone has received the necessary Bluetooth SIG certification. It confirms that the smartphone will support Bluetooth 5.3. If HTC keeps the tradition, the new mid-range smartphone will be unveiled this summer, probably in June or July.
