Telegram blocks official Ukrainian bots from transmitting data to the Defence Forces

Official Ukrainian bots in the popular Telegram messenger, which were used to transmit data to the Defence Forces, have been blocked. According to media outlets, this happened as a result of calls for the blocking of the messenger itself in Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

Among the bots that have ceased their work are the following:

• Yevorog from the Ministry of Digital Transformation;
• Official bots of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine;
• A coordinator bot from southern Ukraine known for its role in coordinating actions against threats from enemy forces;
• An air defence bot for tracking "Shahed".

So far, representatives of the security services and the government have not commented on the incident.
