New feature of Pixel Launcher: View full app names

Soon, Pixel owners will be able to see the full names of their favourite apps without restriction. Mishal Rahman, an Android expert, has found clues to a possible solution to the Pixel Launcher issue with long app names being truncated in the app drawer and search results.

Here's What We Know

According to Android 15 Beta 1.2, Pixel Launcher may be able to display full app names by splitting them into two lines in both the app drawer and search results. This long-awaited feature can be extremely useful for users who often encounter restrictions on the display of app names.

This feature applies only to the list of apps and search results, not to the apps displayed on the home screen. According to Rahman, Google has been working on this issue since early 2022.
