Rapper Drake has been forced to remove his diss track Taylor Made, which contains the voice of the late hip-hop legend Tupac Shakur recreated using artificial intelligence. This comes after lawyers for Tupac's heirs warned of a possible lawsuit.

Here's What We Know

The Canadian rapper released the song on 19 April as a follow-up to his conflict with Kendrick Lamar. The song featured AI vocals stylised to resemble the voice of the legendary Tupac.

However, lawyers representing Shakur's heirs threatened Drake with legal action if he didn't remove the track within 24 hours. Apparently, the rapper decided not to take the matter to court and removed Taylor Made from his social media accounts.

This incident has become one of the most striking examples of the use of AI technology to recreate the voices of famous musicians. Many artists have spoken out against the practice, fearing it could damage their careers and rights.

Taylor Made was not officially released on any streaming platform, so it is unknown whether Drake received any revenue directly from the song. Nevertheless, the track has managed to spread across the internet.
