Germany transfers Skynex SAMs, Marder 1A3 BMPs, ammunition for Gepard, IRIS-T SL missiles and other weapons to Ukraine

The German government has updated the list of transferred military aid to Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

The new aid package includes:

• 1 Skynex SAMs
• 10 Marder 1A3 BMPs
• 1 Biber bridge-laying tank
• 6 M1070 tank tractors
• 1 Pionierpanzer 2A1 Dachs AEV engineer vehicle
• 3,000 RGW90 MATADOR grenade launchers
• 1 TRML-4D radar
• IRIS-T SL missiles
• Almost 30,000 APDS-T 35 mm APDS-T shells for Gepard AFVs
• Leopard 2 tank ammunition
• 18,000 40 mm rounds for automatic grenade launchers
• 120 mm mortar rounds
• 7,400 155 mm shells
• 1 AMPS airborne missile defence system for helicopters
• 60 boat engines

In addition, Germany is preparing to ship a Patriot surface-to-air missile system, which it promised to hand over to Ukraine in mid-April.
