Artificial intelligence in Safari: Apple is preparing to expand the functionality for users

The upcoming updates of Safari for iOS 18 and macOS 15 from Apple will open up new perspectives for web browser users. The popular browser may receive not only advanced AI support from Apple but also a number of other innovative features that will improve its performance and usability.

Here's What We Know

One of the key innovations that may appear in Safari is the ability to summarise text using artificial intelligence, similar to the function offered by the Arc browser.

It is noted that Safari may also include a web content eraser, which will allow users to remove unwanted elements from web pages, such as advertising banners or unnecessary sections of text.

The new version of the browser may also introduce an updated Visual Look Up feature that will enhance the ability to identify objects in images, including consumer products.

According to AppleInsider, Apple engineers are actively working on these features. Official details about the Safari updates for iOS 18 and macOS 15 are expected at the WWDC24 keynote on 10 June.
