Twitch feed now looks like TikTok
This week, the Twitch platform announced the launch of its new "discovery" channel, which reminds users of TikTok.
Here's What We Know
This new feature, which is now available to all users, allows you to quickly scroll through short video clips and find new streamers. The move follows successful tests that began in 2023.
The new feed has two main tabs: live streams and clips. The first one displays both live broadcasts from already well-known streamers and broadcasts that Twitch thinks users might like. The second tab, Clips, shows the most interesting moments from streamers even when they are not on air.
In order to better customise the display of content in the feed, users can click the "Like" or "Dislike" buttons while watching a video. This helps the platform to adapt to viewers' preferences.
The discovery feed is finally here: the fastest way to find content you love on Twitch. Preview dozens of live streams & clips without pre-roll ads to find something to watch in minutes.

This initiative comes amidst demands from Twitch streamers to expand their audience.
With the new option, small and medium-sized streamers have more opportunities to attract the attention of new viewers. Although they cannot directly upload content to this channel, Twitch encourages them to create interesting moments and clips to stand a chance of being included in the discovery feed.
