Blizzard reveals first details and title of Diablo IV season four: gamers will see a "fundamental overhaul" of the action-RPG's core mechanics
Blizzard has unveiled the first details of Diablo IV season four.
Here's What We Know
The next season is called Loot Reborn and will start on the 14th of May at 19:00 CEST.
Developers said that this time instead of adding new content, locations and storylines, they focused on improving the main element of all parts of Diablo - mining (Loot).
The developers will reduce the number of items that players get after killing enemies, but will make every piece of armour and weapon more meaningful and unique.
Blizzard will simplify the system of viewing newly obtained items, so that the player can immediately understand which of them is an improvement and which is not worth attention.
Senior season producer Tim Ismay noted in an interview with IGN that Loot Reborn is a fundamental overhaul of most of Diablo IV's gameplay elements, so all fans of the game should peruse the explanatory article on Blizzard's website to be aware of the changes.
In addition, tomorrow, on the 2nd of May, Blizzard will hold a broadcast with Diablo IV developers, where they will reveal even more interesting details about Loot Reborn.
