The Galaxy S25 Ultra's main camera sensor may not get any changes
The next-generation Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra flagship smartphone is not expected to feature significant changes to the camera, according to leaks. This may disappoint some fans of the brand.

Insider Ice Universe discussed Samsung's current choice to go for a flat design in the Galaxy S24 Ultra and expressed his opinion that the flat panels in the smartphone's design could pose a problem for the company when it comes time to introduce larger and thicker camera sensors compared to devices with a curved design.
If Samsung insists on flat screen design, it will encounter a problem sooner or later.

However, this doesn't mean that the camera modules in the Galaxy S25 Ultra will remain unchanged. There is a possibility that Samsung will update the ultra-wide and telephoto camera in the new device. In addition, Samsung may offer optimisations through software that will further improve the image quality of the main camera.
Apart from the Ultra model, the standard Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus are also rumoured to feature the same 50-megapixel main sensor as the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23. However, the improved shooting quality is expected to be introduced by improving the software.
As for other changes, Samsung is rumoured to continue its dual-chip strategy by providing some variants of the Galaxy S25 with an Exynos chipset. Additionally, a Korean whistleblower has claimed that the Galaxy S25 Plus will feature larger displays than its predecessor.
Despite all this, the Galaxy S25 series won't be ready until early next year. Therefore, we are likely to see changes in the development of Samsung's next generation of flagship smartphones and perhaps a better prediction regarding the front camera.
