Samsung has launched the development of Wear OS 5 for Galaxy Watch 6

Samsung last year announced the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic smartwatches with Wear OS 4 on board. Now it has been reported that the manufacturer is working on a major new update for the devices.

Here's What We Know

This was revealed by insider @MatthewReiter05. We are talking about Wear OS 5. Dataminer noticed the firmware with the build number R965USQU1BXD8 for carrier models of the Galaxy Watch 6.

Unfortunately, there are no details about Wear OS 5 yet. All we know is that Google plans to show off the system at the I/O 2024 conference on 14 May. As for the release of the system for the Galaxy Watch 6, we should expect it in the summer.
