Thanks to the PC release, Helldivers 2 is already Sony's 7th highest-grossing game in history

Helldivers 2 has become a real hit. Neither Sony, Arrowhead, nor the players expected the game to become so popular. As it turned out, the success was greatly influenced by Sony's strategy of releasing the game on PC and PS5 at once.

Circana analyst Mat Piscatella said that the PC release was a big part of Helldivers 2's success. With PC, Helldivers 2 is already Sony's 7th highest-grossing game in history. Without PC, it would not have made it into the top 20.

Helldivers 2 has been the number one selling game on Steam in the US every month since its release, including April. Launching the game simultaneously on PlayStation and PC has been nothing short of a huge success.
