Dataminer findings confirm that Call of Duty 2024 could be announced as early as this month
There is a consensus in the gamer community: a new part of Call of Duty will be presented to the public soon. According to rumours, it will be dedicated to the war in the Persian Gulf.
According to insiders and journalists at the Xbox Games Showcase, which will be held on 9 June, Activision and Microsoft Call of Duty, a new Gears instalment, Avowed - and that's not all: the games to be unveiled at Xbox Games Showcase 2024 have been revealed.
But it seems that the direct announcement of the shooter will take place even before this event.
Here's What We Know
Dataminers found in the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone files that after the last update, there was a mention of "s3_cerberus_revea" in them. Recall that Cerberus is, as previously reported, the codename of Call of Duty 2024. Datamayners also discovered the line "SALLY 6", which could mean that this year's game will be called Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and not Gulf War as previously speculated.

Since this data was found in the code of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, it confirms that the Black Ops 6 announcement will be accompanied by some sort of event in the said games.
Activision will probably show a logo and a brief teaser of Call of Duty 2024 in May, while the Xbox Games Showcase will present a gameplay trailer and details of the shooter.
