The Poco F6 has passed NBTC certification, which means its global launch is imminent
The Poco F6 smartphone, as well as the F6 Pro version, are actively undergoing certification ahead of the global launch. After the Pro version appeared on the NBTC certification site in Thailand in March, the base F6 has now been spotted there as well. This indicates that the launch of the smartphone is imminent.
Here's What We Know
The Poco F6 has appeared on the certification with the model number 24069PC12G. The letter G at the end means that this is the global version. As usual, the NBTC certification does not reveal the specific specifications of the device.
The device recently appeared on Geekbench listing with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, 12GB of RAM and Android 14 operating system. It scored 2001 points in the single-core test and 5,583 points in the multi-core test.
The Poco F6 will reportedly be a renamed version of the Chinese exclusive Redmi Turbo 3, which has the same chipset as expected for the F6 and also got LPDDR5x RAM up to 12GB, UFS 4.0 internal storage up to 512GB. Apart from this, the Turbo 3 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen at 120Hz, a 5000mAh battery and 90W charging. The camera in the device is dual and has a resolution of 50MP main sensor + 8MP ultra wide angle lens. It is rumoured that the Poco F6 will add a macro camera as well.
The Poco F6 is expected to be launched in June. More information about the smartphone will be coming soon.
