French company EOS Technologie has unveiled its new Veloce 330 unmanned aerial vehicle.

The novelty boasts vertical takeoff and landing technology, as well as a jet engine. During flight tests, the drone was able to reach speeds of up to 400 km/h, covering 50 km in just 16 minutes. Veloce 330 is planned to be used for reconnaissance missions as well as a kamikaze drone.
Veloce 330 will be able to fly at a range of 80 kilometres. The claimed autonomy of the UAV is up to 3 hours. Veloce 330 is resistant to radar. It is equipped with TRAAK's jam-resistant GPS navigation system. In addition, the novelty has an advanced optoelectronic system. The UAV can detect vehicles at a distance of up to 15 kilometres during the day and up to 3 kilometres at night.
By the way, Veloce 330 is created under the modernisation programme of the French army. The programme was initiated in May 2022 by the Directorate General of Armaments and the French Defence Innovation Agency.
