The new TCL 50 XL 5G smartphone is now on sale in the US at a recommended price of $159.99
Chinese electronics manufacturer TCL, which previously manufactured Alcatel phones, has introduced its new TCL 50 XL 5G smartphone to the North American market. This model was first announced in January 2024 at CES as part of the TCL 50 lineup. This affordable model is now available to order from Metro by T-Mobile.
Here's What We Know
The TCL 50 XL 5G features a 6.78-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels, 20:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus processor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. Users can also expand the memory using a MicroSD card.
The main camera of the smartphone consists of three modules: 50 MP main camera, 2 MP ultra wide-angle camera and 2 MP depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8 MP selfie camera.
The smartphone has a 5010 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The dimensions of the device are 167.6 x 75.5 x 8.22 mm, and the weight is 195 g. Android 14 is used as the operating system. The novelty also received stereo speakers, and for the safety of user data there is a fingerprint scanner located on the side of the smartphone.
The TCL 50 XL 5G smartphone is already available for order in the United States on the Metro by T-Mobile site at a price of $159.99.
