Xiaomi Black Shark GS3: a rugged waterproof smartwatch with 21 days of battery life for $70
Just a few months ago, Xiaomi's Black Shark sub-brand introduced the GT3 smart watch. And now the company is releasing a new model - Black Shark GS3.
Here's What We Know
This is a ruggedised smartwatch with a robust design that has passed 15 stringent certifications under military standards. This means that they are resistant to extreme temperatures, harsh weather conditions and even shock. In addition, the 5ATM + IP69K dust and water resistance rating indicates that the watch is suitable for swimming and other water sports.
The Black Shark GS3 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 60Hz refresh rate and 600 nits brightness, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 8H+. The ultra-low power consumption chip and high density battery provides up to 21 days of battery life.
The gadget supports over 100 sports modes and has an inbuilt optical sensor, heart rate and blood oxygen sensors for comprehensive health monitoring. It is also claimed to support GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, GALILEOGPS and QZSS for accurate location tracking, NFC and the ability to make calls via Bluetooth.
The Black Shark GS3 is already available for pre-order in China for a special price of around $70.
