TCL unveiled a new 100-inch TV with 4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and 540 backlight zones

TCL continues to expand its smart TV range with the launch of a new model.

Here's What We Know

The novelty was named TCL Thunderbird 100 MAX. The device is equipped with a 100-inch screen. The panel boasts 4K resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, 540 backlight zones and 1200 nits brightness. The TV received a contrast ratio of 12 million to 1. In addition, the novelty comes with a 50W audio system.

TCL Thunderbird 100MAX is powered by MediaTek MT9653 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device also features Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6.0 and HDMI 2.1.

Price & When We Can Expect It

TCL Thunderbird 100 MAX can already be bought in China for $1526. Whether the novelty will appear in the global market is still unknown.
