CD Projekt announced the release date of the official REDkit toolkit for creating custom modifications for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Here's What We Know
The full release of the modification editor will take place on the 21st of May on Steam and GOG.
Players who have purchased licensed versions of Wild Hunt will be able to create their own versions of the adventures of Geralt and his companions, down to the quest chains, locations, animations, dialogues.
The Witcher 3 REDkit contains almost all the tools that were used by the developers when creating the game, so users will get essentially unlimited power over the popular game and will be able to implement all the most daring ideas. At the same time, the program does not require any special knowledge of programming, modelling and other skills.
