Rumour: Samsung Galaxy Fold 6 may get a wider and rectangular design
Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its new flagship Galaxy Fold 6 and Flip 6 series, which is set to take place at the company's summer Unpacked event. Recent leaks suggest that the Galaxy Fold 6 will get a wider outer screen with sharper angles. It will be different from the previous models in the series, which had a narrow and tall outer screen with rounded edges.
Here's What We Know
Popular whistleblower Ice Universe has shared an image of a third-party screen protector for the upcoming Galaxy Fold 6 smartphone. The source claims that the Fold 6's outer screen will be 60.2mm wide, while the Galaxy Fold 5's outer screen is 57.4mm wide. This will provide the user with more workspace for a similar sized device without increasing the overall size.

The photo of the protective glass also shows that the outer screen will have thinner bezels on all sides. However, it is worth noting that these protective glasses are produced by third-party manufacturers, so the information should be taken with some caution as there is no official information yet.
Samsung is yet to announce the launch date for the next Galaxy Fold 6 smartphone. However, it is expected that the Galaxy Fold 6 and Flip 6 foldable smartphones are likely to be unveiled at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in early July.
