Xiaomi has noticed an interesting fact about its new smartphone models that may be of interest to fans of the brand. While working on the Poco F6 Pro, it was accidentally discovered that this device is almost identical to the upcoming Redmi K70.

The discovery was made during the publication of a public update for the Poco F6 Pro, although the model has not yet been officially launched. However, during the analysis of the update, it was noticed that the internal files contain the codename "Vermeer", which is the same as the name of the Redmi K70 model.

This discovery is important, as Xiaomi traditionally avoids reusing codenames for different models, which suggests that the Poco F6 Pro and Redmi K70 may be significantly similar in terms of features.

According to the leaks, the Poco F6 Pro will have the same specs as the Redmi K70, including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a 5000mAh battery.

Recently, Xiaomi has already surprised its fans by launching the Poco X6 Pro, which was very similar to the Redmi K70E. However, the devices had differences in characteristics, in particular in terms of battery and charging speed.
