Quantum Systems presents new long-range unmanned aerial vehicle Reliant
During SOF Week in Tampa, Florida, Quantum-Systems impressed the audience with its new Reliant unmanned aerial vehicle system.
Here's What We Know
The Reliant is designed for reconnaissance, surveillance and reconnaissance beyond line of sight, as well as for target acquisition in difficult environments. By combining the versatility of a helicopter with the efficiency of a fixed-wing design, this system can provide more than 10 hours of continuous operation.

One of the key advantages of the Reliant is its fast operation - less than 10 minutes is enough for the system to be ready to go. It also has an additional payload bay, which allows for the expansion of the ability to install additional sensors and reconnaissance systems.
Using Li-Po batteries and a hybrid electric drive system, the Reliant can operate for 4 hours on battery power and up to 10 hours on the hybrid system. It has a top speed of 60 miles per hour, a payload of 3kg, and dimensions of 7.8ft in length and 12.8ft in wingspan.
