It's not all bad: an insider has refuted information about the sorry state of Perfect Dark and claims that the game will be shown at the Xbox Games Showcase
A few days ago, a number of well-known insiders and journalists spoke about the problems in the development of the reboot of the shooter Perfect Dark, which was announced in 2020 and since then appeared only in the news with alarming headlines.
"A huge protracted mess" - so succinctly characterised the situation with the development of Perfect Dark one of the insiders.
Unexpectedly, there was completely opposite information about the game, which is being developed by The Initiative studio and Crystal Dynamics, which came to its aid.
Here's What We Know
On the air of the DirectXbox podcast, famous insider Nate the Hate reported that the information about the catastrophic state of Perfect Dark is not true.
His sources said that the developers overcame all the problems, decided on the vision of the game and moreover, four years after the announcement, are ready to show the public the result of their labours.
Nate the Hate is confident that the new iteration of Perfect Dark will be presented at the Xbox Games Showcase event, which will be held on 9 June.
Jeff Grubb commented on Nate the Hate's information and confirmed that he too has heard about the developers' plans to showcase Perfect Dark at the Xbox Games Showcase.
Yeah, since talking about it, I've heard it could show up at the Xbox Showcase as well. https://t.co/RiQjyTxFIi
