Apple announced the stable version of iOS 17.5: what's new and when to expect the firmware
Apple, after a month of testing, has announced a stable version of iOS 17.5.
Here's What's New About It
iOS 17.5 introduces support for web apps in the European Union. This allows developers to offer their apps for download directly on their websites. iPhone users will be able to download iOS apps from supported websites without using the App Store.
Apple has also improved its News+ service with an offline mode. It allows you to view the latest news without connecting to the Internet. The developers also added the ability to recognise third-party GPS trackers and the "Repair Status" function. Thanks to it, you can now send iPhone to the service without switching off Find My and Activation Lock. Apple also updated the Podcast widget and improved Mobile Device Management.
When We Can Expect It
The update has already started rolling out in waves to all supported iPhone models. You can check for OTA in your device's settings.
