Rumour: Samsung will release the foldable Galaxy Flip 6 smartphone only with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip

Insider @kro_roe has revealed new details about the foldable Galaxy Flip 6 smartphone.

Here's What We Know

According to the informant, Samsung has no plans to release an Exynos version of the foldable. The smartphone will most likely be sold in all markets with the current flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

That's great news! I'm glad to hear that the Flip 6 comes equipped with Snapdragon across the board, avoiding any critical issues seen in the Exynos 2400.

As for other specs, the Galaxy Flip 6 will feature a 6.7-inch main screen and a 3.4-inch secondary display on the outside. The novelty will also get a 4000 mAh battery (vs. 3700 mAh in the Galaxy Flip 5), 25W charging, dual main camera and 256GB storage. The novelty should cost about $999.

When We Can Expect It

If rumours are to be believed, the Galaxy Flip 6 will be released in July or August.
