Helldivers 2 sold 12 million copies in 12 weeks - a better result than God of War Ragnarok

Helldivers 2 has become a real success. No one expected that the co-op shooter by Arrowhead would become so popular. And thanks to Sony, we now know how well the game sold.

The game sold 12 million copies in 12 weeks. So every week, a new million players come to the game. But the interesting facts don't end there. Helldivers 2 broke the record of God of War Ragnarok. The adventure of Kratos and Atreus sold 11 million copies in 10 weeks.

As a reminder, Circana analyst Mat Piscatella said that the PC release was a big part of Helldivers 2's success. With PC, Helldivers 2 is already Sony's 7th highest-grossing game in history. Without PC, it wouldn't even be in the top 20.
