Blizzard has announced the start of the fourth season in Diablo IV, called Loot Reborn.

Here's What We Know

Previously, the developers reported that Loot Reborn is a fundamental overhaul of many of Diablo's key mechanics, not just the fourth instalment, but the entire series.

Blizzard has never before made such radical changes to its already released games. In terms of changes, Loot Reborn is being compared to the Reaper of Souls expansion for Diablo 3, which fixed key bugs in the game after its scandalous release in 2012.

In Diablo IV: Loot Reborn the developers focused on improving the main element of all Diablo parts - loot. It will drop less, but each weapon and armour item will become more meaningful and unique and will significantly affect gameplay.

Blizzard has simplified the system of viewing newly obtained items, so that the player can immediately understand which of them is an improvement and which is not worth attention.

The season started simultaneously on all platforms, and its details can be seen on Blizzard's website.

In honour of the release of such a major update, the developers released a trailer, in which they demonstrated the main innovations of the season:
