The biggest update for Starfield has been released: the game now features ground transport, detailed maps and the ability to change the interior of the spaceship

Bethesda Game Studios has kept its promise and released the full version of the biggest patch for the space role-playing game Starfield.

Here's What We Know

Gamers and developers have tested the patch 1.11.36 and now it is available to all players.

The patch provides a huge number of innovations, including:

• detailed maps of cities, settlements and territories of planets;
• updated system of building spaceships, now players will be able to create them from empty modules and fill the interior at will;
• in the game appeared detailed difficulty setting. Gamers can choose the maximum limit of money from merchants, payload of their character, adjust the damage and the amount of health of enemies and adjust other elements of Starfield. Each setting affects the amount of experience points you receive;
• Bethesda has added an additional difficulty level - Extreme;
• in New Game + mode, you can re-select your hero's unique traits and appearance;
• on Xbox Series X there are additional graphics quality settings: the developers gave a choice between 30 fps and 60 fps (or between 30, 40, 60 and unlimited fps if you have a display with VRR);
• there was an option to disable the camera for dialogues;
• ground transport is now available in Starfield.

In autumn 2024, Starfield fans will see the release of a major storyline expansion Shattered Space, details of which will probably be revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase in June.

Starfield is available on PC and Xbox Series, as well as in the Game Pass catalogue.
