Samsung has certified the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch FE smartwatches - announcement coming soon
At the Unpacked presentation in July, Samsung is expected to unveil at least 3 models of the Galaxy Watch 7 smartwatch: the basic version, Classic and Pro. In addition, they may be joined by the Galaxy Watch FE with a more affordable price. Some of these watches recently appeared in the certification database of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Here's What We Know
So, the FCC has listed several smartwatches with the numbers SM-L300, SM-L305, SM-L310, SM-L315 and SM-R861. The SM-L300 and SM-L310 are likely Wi-Fi versions of the Galaxy Watch 7 in 40mm and 44mm sizes, while the SM-L305 and SM-L315 are the same watch but with LTE support.
According to the FCC, the SM-L305 will support 15W wireless charging. In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 6 only have 10W charging power.
Under the number SM-R861, the Galaxy Watch FE is likely to be hiding. Incidentally, the Galaxy Watch 4 once went under the number SM-R860, while the Galaxy Watch FE is rumoured to be released as the Galaxy Watch 4 (2024).
This model will support 5W wireless charging.
