Poco enters the tablet market on 23 May
Poco is gearing up for a major event scheduled for 23 May where they will unveil their new products. The expected announcements include the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro smartphones, as well as the first tablet from the brand, the Poco Pad.
Here's What We Know
There's not much official information about the Poco Pad yet, but rumours suggest that it could be a renamed version of the recently announced Redmi Pad Pro. The Poco Pad is expected to get a 12.1-inch IPS display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset inside. The camera is likely to replicate the Redmi Pad Pro's specs, with an 8-megapixel sensor on the rear and another 8-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies and video calls.
The Poco Pad might also support a stylus and keyboard case as hinted in leaks earlier. Sound will be provided by a four-channel speaker system with Dolby Atmos support, while the 10,000mAh battery will be able to charge quickly thanks to 33W charging.
It's important to note that the Redmi Pad Pro has already appeared on Google Play Console, signalling its global release. A 5G-enabled version of the Redmi Pad Pro is also reportedly in the pipeline.
