Following the iPhone mini: the iPhone 16 Plus looks set to be the last Plus model in Apple's range

Earlier this month, an insider reported that the iPhone 16 lineup will be the last to feature a Plus model.Now, a new report from The Information confirms this information.

Here's What We Know

According to the publication, Apple will still release the iPhone 16 Plus this year, but the Plus model will not be among the new products next year. Instead, a new iPhone 17 is expected to be released with a slimmer body, updated design and a price even higher than the Pro Max.

The Plus size of the iPhone debuted in 2022 with the iPhone 14 lineup. These smartphones are aimed at users who are looking for a gadget with a larger screen but aren't willing to pay more for the Pro version.

If the iPhone 16 Plus is indeed the last representative, the Plus series will only last 3 years - a year longer than the iPhone mini.
